Week 1 EOC: Great Customer Service

Great customer service, well what is it or what do they mean, and what does it take to give great customer service? Well let’s see, great customer service is the customer leaving happy and wanting to come back another time. How you approach this great customer service depends on your work place because, like for example me and my friends went to a place called Dicks which is a restaurant and they literally have to act like dicks to you. They throw a long white paper at you and tell you it’s your table cloth, they swear and call you names, and they give you these hats that say mean things or funny things on them. This is they’re great customer service because people continue to come back with more family members and friends who would think their act would be fun to experience and a cherish able memory for them all. Now in retail which I happen to be in at a mall, our service is to help the customer find what they need or something close to it so that we get the sale and they leave happy. Yes, we all have the same motive which is having the customers leave happy no matter what and if not, at least you tried. But the way we achieve this goal is all based on what type of area we work in not all retailers do the same things to achieve it, each store tweak the original way just a bit.
